X-Plane V8 (PC/Mac) Compare Prices

Game Review & Description: I have been buying and flying X-plane since version number 5. To recap this is what can be claimed as realistic flight simulator where you get to fly a variety of different aircraft. As a bonus there are several on-line sites where there are literally hundreds of others to choose from (my favourite being the X-24B). My major bone of contention as always with X-plane is the lack of instruction and attention to detail. If you have been using flight simulators for years then you will get the gist fairly quickly. As an experiment I let my friend try and have a 'fly'. He has a PhD and used to fly as a pilot with RAF, he was completely stuck. A good example of this lack of attention to detail is the cockpit displays. The shuttle option on X-plane has been around for ages, yet the cockpit is still pretty useless from one version to the next. Also, sometimes features work in updates sometimes they do not. Microsoft Flight Simulator this is not - I will continue to buy it and gripe!
